Another year another year. Sooner or later I'm going to use up all of mine. So, what are my new year resolutions for 2012? I don't know. There's no baby steps, no lists, no monthly planner for 2012. They haven't been working at all for the past 7 years anyway so I don't see them working suddenly this year. Einstein once said that the definition of insanity is repeating the same actions hoping to get different results so this year I'm going to try something new.

I'm trying out devotion.

I have a ton of work to do which I should have done over the holidays but are as of now, still undone.

I wonder if my talent at procrastination is just my subconscious telling me to stop what I'm doing because the goals I've set for myself isn't where my heart wants me to go. Although if I'm truly honest, I've not been very keen on deciding where else I want to go as an alternative either. Is it then a self preservation technique? I can't bring myself to decide that what I've decided is wrong, yet at the same time I sabotage my own efforts to go down the very path I've set for myself.

Perhaps it's just the common lack of self discipline and will.
